At Family Friendly Media Corp. ("FFM") your privacy is important to us and FFM is committed to respecting the privacy of our users. We strive to provide a safe, secure user experience at http://www.connectmoms.com/ or www.JobsForDads.com. This Privacy Policy sets forth the online data collection and usage policies and practices that apply to ConnectMoms.com or JobsForDads.com. By creating an Employer Account or a Job Seeker Profile & Account on the ConnectMoms.com Web site or the JobsForDads.com Web site, you consent to the policies and practices described in this Privacy Policy.

Our Web sites contain links to other Web sites over which we have no control. FFM is not responsible for the privacy policies or practices of other Web sites to which you choose to link from the Connect Moms.com Web site or the JobsForDads.com Web site. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of those other Web sites so you can understand how they collect, use and share your information. This Privacy Policy applies solely to the information we collect on the Connect Moms.com Web site and JobsForDads.com Web site.

Collection and Retention of Information

In order to provide you with a valuable service ConnectMoms.com and JobsForDads.com, in some areas of our Web sites, requests or may request that you provide personal information, including your name, address, e-mail address, telephone number, credit card number (if applicable), contact information, and billing information. In addition, as a job seeker, you may provide information about yourself by providing a job search profile containing information such as recent employment experience, education, professional awards or designations, professional licenses and other employment related qualifications.

FFM may also ask further information about you in order to better understand your needs. This information may be used to verify you and to contact you, to forward to you messages from other Users, to forward you information about job opportunities, to match you to a variety of job opportunities or users, answer your questions, provide you with services, assist us in developing the FFM Web sites functionalities, provide our advertisers with aggregate, non-identifiable information about our users and inform you of additional services provided by us.

We may also conduct online surveys that you will be given the ability to participate in on an opt-in basis. If you contact FFM we may keep a record of your correspondence.

We also gather or may gather certain information about your use of the FFM Web site, such as what areas you visit and what services you access. Moreover, there is information about your computer hardware and software that is or may be collected by ConnectMoms.com and JobsForDads.com. This information can include without limitation your IP address, browser type, domain names, access times and referring Web site addresses. This information is used to evaluate different aspects of the ConnectMoms.com and JobsForDads.com. The information may also be used for site security and law enforcement purposes.

Please remember that if you post any of your personal information in public areas of ConnectMoms.com or JobsForDads.com, such as in online forums, public profiles, chat rooms or blogs, such information may be collected and used by others over whom FFM has no control. We are not responsible for the use made by third parties of information you post or otherwise make available in public areas of ConnectMoms.com and JobsForDads.com.

Since we believe that managing your career is an on-going process, your job application history is retained by ConnectMoms.com or JobsForDads.com for at least eighteen (18) months. You can correct or update your account profile and resume at any time. Moreover, you can delete your resume from our online database or close your account at any time, in which event we will remove all our copies of your resume and account profile information except for an archival copy which is not accessible on the Internet except to the employer(s) to which you have applied. Due to data storage constraints the archival copy accessible only to employers to which you have applied may be deleted at ConnectMoms.com or JobsForDads.com discretion after a period of 1 year.  Due to the nature of the Internet, any public information may not be entirely removed from the Internet as it may appear on other Web sites that are not controlled by FFM.

Use of Information by ConnectMoms.com or JobsForDads.com

We use the information we gather on the Connect Moms Web site or Jobs For Dads Web site, whether personal, demographic, collective or technical, for the purpose of operating and improving the Connect Moms or Jobs For Dads Web sites, fostering a positive user experience, and delivering the products and services that we offer.

We may use your contact information in order to send you e-mail or other communications regarding updates at ConnectMoms.com or JobsForDads.com, such as new opportunities and additional listings which may be of interest to you. The nature and frequency of these messages will vary depending upon the information we have about you. In addition, at the time of registration for ConnectMoms.com or JobsForDads.com, you have the option to elect to receive additional communications, information and promotions including without limitation free informational newsletters from ConnectMoms.com or JobsForDads.com.   FFM does work with third-party advertising companies and sponsors with whom we do business to place advertising on our Web site and in email communications sent to our registered users and to recipients of Job Email Alerts, Newsletters and other communications related to the services offered by FFM.

We have an area where you can submit feedback. Any feedback you submit in this area becomes our property, and we can use such feedback for marketing purposes or to contact you for further information.

Use and Disclosure of Information to Others

We use the personal information that you deliver to us to provide you the services that you request.
We may disclose your information to prospective employers, our partners and other third parties for the purpose of providing these services to you and to provide you with information respecting additional services that may be of interest to you.

If you do not wish us to use or provide your information to our partners and other third parties for the purpose of informing you about other services or products that may be of interest to you, please contact us at service@ConnectMoms.com.

We use appropriate security procedures to protect the information that you provide to us including reasonable technical and organizational measures.

Where we consider it appropriate we use encryption and authentication measures to protect certain information provided to us online or maintained through our Web site.

Only employees who have administrative functions and a need to know have access to your information.
Since email communications are not secure you should consider providing us with confidential or sensitive information by more secure means such as by postal mail or telephone.

While we believe our security measures are reasonable and appropriate to protect your information from unauthorized access, use, alteration or disclosure, we cannot guarantee that unauthorized access will not be obtained by persons who defeat these measures for improper purposes.

Posting to Public Areas of ConnectMoms.com and JobsForDads.com

Please remember that if you post any of your personal information in public areas of ConnectMoms.com or JobsForDads.com, for example public profiles, online forums or chat rooms, or in the ConnectMoms.com or JobsForDads.com searchable resume database, such information may be collected and used by others over whom we have no control. We are not responsible for the use made by third parties of information you post or otherwise make available in public areas of ConnectMoms.com or JobsForDads.com.

Please ensure that you edit your public profiles carefully to ensure that only information that you wish to be available publicly is visible.  The tag information that is automatically generated when you upload your resume is for guideline purposes only and it is necessary to edit these tags before you publish your profile publicly.

FFM does not take any responsibility for information that is presented in public profiles and cannot control the use of this information by other parties. 

Profile

If you choose to use ConnectMoms.com or JobsForDads.com you will be required to build a Profile when you register.  The only public information that the Web site requires to appear publicly is your name and geographical location.  All tags that are automatically generated from the uploading of your resume can be deleted, added to or edited prior to your profile being placed in the public domain of the Internet.  FFM holds no responsibility for any information that is publicly displayed and it is the responsibility of the user to edit all tags prior to activating their profile.

You will also be able to enter information regarding your skills, experience and interests that will allow other Users to search for people like you. By default, your Profile will be public and available to Users of ConnectMoms.com and JobsForDads.com and anyone else who searches the Internet for public information. FFM reserves the right to distribute your public profile information, or parts thereof, in marketing materials and communications in the media, in publications online and offline.

Users of ConnectMoms.com and JobsForDads.com are able to send email messages to other users from within the logged in Profile environment.  These email messages will be received in your assigned personal email account and your address is blocked to other users.  It is necessary to be logged in to your account in order to contact other users.  FFM does not take any responsibility for the content of email messages that are received through the Web sites and any inappropriate activity should be reported to support@connectmoms.com.

Resumes

We attempt to limit access to our searchable resume database (or copies thereof) only to paying employers, recruiters, hiring managers, headhunters, and human resource professionals, as well as law enforcement and national security agencies, but cannot guarantee that other parties will not gain access to this database. We are not responsible for the use made of resumes by third parties who access such resumes while they are in our searchable database. You may remove your resume from our database at any time. However, employers, recruiters and others who have paid for access to that database or to obtain a copy of that database, as well as parties who have otherwise gained access to the database, may have retained a copy of your resume in their own files or databases. We are not responsible for the retention, use or privacy of resumes in these instances.

Use of Cookies

ConnectMoms.com and JobsForDads.com uses "cookies" to help personalize and maximize your online experience and time online. A cookie is a text file that is placed on your hard drive by a Web page server. Cookies are not used to run programs or deliver viruses to your computer. Cookies are uniquely assigned to your computer, and can only be read by a Web server in the domain that issued the cookie to you.

One of the primary purposes of cookies is to provide a convenience feature to save you time. The purpose of a cookie is to tell the Web server that you have returned to a specific page. For example, if you personalize ConnectMoms.com or JobsForDads.com pages, or register for services, a cookie helps us to recall your specific information (such as user name, password and preferences). Because of our use of cookies, we can deliver faster and more accurate results and a more personalized site experience. Click here to log in to your account. You can request that your Connect Moms of Jobs For Dads account be deleted by contacting Connect Moms^TM.   

If you opted to receive newsletters, commercial e-mails or other communications from ConnectMoms.com, JobsForDads.com or third parties at the time you registered with FFM, but subsequently change your mind, you may opt-out by editing your Account Profile as described above. If you previously opted not to receive such communications, you may later opt-in by editing your Account Profile.

Security

FFM has implemented reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to secure your personal information from accidental loss and from unauthorized access, use, alteration or disclosure. However, we cannot guarantee that unauthorized third parties will never be able to defeat those measures or use your personal information for improper purposes.

When you place an order online at ConnectMoms.com or JobsForDads.com, your credit card information is protected through the use of encryption, such as the Secure Socket Layer ("SSL") protocol. SSL makes it difficult for your credit card information to be intercepted or stolen while being transmitted. FFM uses a service company to process its credit card transactions.

Children

ConnectMoms.com and JobsForDads.com is not intended for children under 16 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16.

Changes to Privacy Statement

If FFM decides to change the Privacy Policy for ConnectMoms.com and JobsForDads.com, we will post those changes here so that you will always know what information we gather, how we might use that information, and to whom we will disclose it.
