A set of benefits are paid by TELUS including: provincial health care, extended health, life balance account, personal well being days, vacation, employee life insurance, employee accident insurance, business travel accident insurance, short term disability, long term disability and supplemental unemployment benefit. On top of these benefits, employees receive credits to purchase increased benefit coverage or take them as a taxable addition to their pay.

Child Care Partnership
To help our team members strike a balance between work and personal life, TELUS has partnered with Kids & Company, Canada’s leading provider of corporate-sponsored child care in Calgary, Waterloo, Toronto, Ottawa, Ajax, Winnipeg, Mississauga, Montreal, London and Halifax.

Their services are only available to employees of partner corporations. Kids & Company will guarantee children a spot within six months of registering.

Maternity Benefits
70% top up for 17 weeks

Life Balance Account
A lump sum of $500 is provided to employees to spend on items and activities that help them achieve more work/life balance.

My Personal Assistant
TELUS has teamed up with Thirsty Muse, a professional assistance company to delegate personal services. TELUS management and professional team members are allocated 24 delegation units. Different services and errand requests require different numbers of delegation units
