Workplace Location Survey
What does “working from home” mean to you? Have you filled in the Workplace Location Survey yet?
Thank you to everyone who has already filled in the Workplace Location Survey. We have really interesting results to date!
If you have not yet filled in the survey, and if you are:
- a parent living in Greater Vancouver,
- who works in a location outside of a traditional office/storefront/clinical setting, and
- who has children under the age of 6,
We would appreciate your input. Please take 10 minutes to complete the attached survey before March 9, 2009 and be entered into a draw to win one of the following:
A Nanny Plan Basic: With this annual membership, you can book your nanny on call at the special member rate, plus other great features ($350 value)
An evening out – Enjoy dinner at the Player Chop House, followed by lots of laughter at the Yuk Yuk’s Comedy Club, all while your children are cared for by Nannies on Call ($140 value)
A Somvisao Spa gift certificate ($50 value).
Please note that any personal contact information supplied will be kept confidential and only be used to contact the winners of the draw.
A summary of the results will be posted online so that we all can learn more about this growing and tremendously important segment of the workforce.
What does the survey hope to answer?
Where we actually work when we say we work “from home”, and how are we making it work for our children?
From the results so far, when not tucked away in a home office, we are working from the gym, the cafĂ©, the car, the community centre, the neighbour’s empty garage… How about you?
Do you agree that technology is the most important reason for where you work, or the commute?
When you have a meeting downtown, do you drop your kids off at daycare or have a nanny arrive at the door to look after them?
Thank you for your participation!
