As an Assistant- Lease Administrator
Your duties will include, but are not restricted to:
-Maintaining Tenant file folders, filing system and file tracking spreadsheets. Creating new files, update and purge as required, including the day-to-day filing and packing boxes of old files for storage.
-Assisting with the preparation and processing of routine lease documentation, such as renewals, assignments, amendments, short term agreements, pylon agreements, offers, LOIâ?Ts, abstracts, updating and maintaining lease clauses.
-Obtaining relevant credit information, Equifax reports and estoppels.
-Recording and following up on related items including security deposits, subject conditions, updating pylon signage requirements and maintaining T1 rent rolls.
-Database maintenance and maintaining and updating documents in Word and Excel.
-Various administrative functions including, but not limited to, scanning, faxing, photo-copying, collating, mailing, etc.
-Other office and clerical duties as required.
Your skills, attributes and experience include:
-A minimum of one year in an office environment
-Previous experience with real estate lease administration or paralegal work will be given preference
-Strong computer skills, especially in MS Office suite including Excel, Word and Access
-Detail oriented and able to achieve consistent accuracy
-Strong business writing skills
-Good business acumen and a proactive approach to problem solving
-A strong work ethic and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment, with excellent time-management skills
-Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communications skills
